One of the top Liverpool beat groups of the early 1960s, Gerry and the Pacemakers, play in Burnley on December 2.
Gerry and the Pacemakers followed the Beatles and many other British music groups on the "British invasion" of 1964.
But unlike modern bands who seem to split, get dropped, or quit the music industry faster than it takes to work out what their names are - the band is still going strong four decades later.
Remembered for such hits as Ferry cross the Mersey and I'm The One, Gerry and the Pacemakers still enjoy well-deserved popularity, and continue to tour regularly.
Fans travel all over the country to watch them perform - and while it's fair to say they probably don't get the screaming girls chucking their knickers onto the stage anymore, they certainly still know how to rock.
See Gerry and the Pacemakers, Burnley Mechanics, Saturday, December 2, 7.30pm. For tickets call 01282 664400.
