Firefighters tackle Darwen moorland blaze

FIREFIGHTERS are battling a moorland fire in Darwen.

They were called to land behind Darwen Tower at around 5pm where they are currently tackling a 30 metre long line of fire.

Two fire engines and a Land Rover are on the scene.

why do people take it upon themselves and set the hills on fire near darwen tower,just hope your grandma ain't going to be in need of the fire service you cretins

Hope you manage to put it out before 10:30 other wise your night shift wont be very happy as they usually go to bed at night
