Baby killer jailed for 17 years

BABY killer Trevor Stoker from Little Hulton claimed "a demon from within" forced him to murder his nine-month-old niece.
Stoker, aged 38, subjected Mollie Norman to a catalogue of horrific assaults while looking after her at his home.
He covered her with a pillow and repeatedly punched her through it.
Then he picked her up by the ankles and "flipped" her up and down, hitting her head on a bed.
The baby suffered severe brain damage.
It took a jury at Manchester Crown Court three hours to find Stoker guilty of murder yesterday. He returned to court today and was sentenced to serve a minimum of 17 years.
