Match parking fees to boost Gary fund

MONEY raised by football fans parking in the grounds of St Joseph RC High School for the Bolton Wanderers match this Saturday will go to the Gary Parkinson Trust Fund.
The former Bolton Wanderers star was left with “locked in syndrome” after suffering a massive stroke in September 2010 and is only able to communicate by blinking.
The school in Chorley New Road Horwich, which his two older children attended, will be supporting the Gary Parkinson Trust by handing in all the money raised through donations by cars parking on the school grounds on the trust.
The school usually requests a minimum donation of £4.
