M6 motorway works delays near Chorley

Drivers are warned of possible delays in the Fulwood area of Preston around the M6 Junction 31a as two extra lanes are added to the motorway slip road, which takes traffic from the motorway onto Bluebell Way.
Traffic signals will also be added to the roundabout. The work is being carried out by the council on behalf of the Homes and Communities Agency and is due to be completed by Saturday.
