A MAN has been taken to Preston Royal Infirmary after a two-car smash on Cavalry Way, just off the M65 near Burnley.
Police were called to the scene after the accident at 5.15pm on the road connecting the two roundabouts close to Junction 10.
A green Vauxhall Corsa had collided with a blue Peugeot 207. A woman was also being treated for injuries in a second ambulance.
The crash blocked the road and there is congestion backing on to the M65.
