BOLTON actress Helen Flanagan bravely bounced back in another Bush Tucker Trial on last night’s I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

The 22-year-old went head to head with MP Nadine Dorries for the second trial known as Rotten Rhymes on the ITV1 show.

As Helen and Nadine arrived at their second trial, hosts Ant and Dec told them it was the first time in the history of I’m A Celebrity that neither camp got to eat the previous night — thanks to the disaster with a bug-infested box on Monday.

The pair were served five Bush Tucker Trial dishes — the first was a baked spider.

A terrified Helen squealed as she tried a bite but passed it on to MP for Mid Bedfordshire Nadine, who managed to complete the first course.

Next up was a camel’s toe and Nadine decided to take the plunge and won a point. Helen attempted the toe but spat it out and lost another point.

The third was a fermented duck egg and trailing behind Nadine, Helen decided to give it a go and managed to swallow the whole egg and won her first point. Nadine failed the task and lost a point for her team.

Nadine managed to win the trial over Helen and four meals for the rest of the camp at Snake Rock.

Even though the former Thornleigh pupil lost the trial, Helen told her team at Croc Creek: “I’m so happy, I know I didn’t win. I’m so proud of myself. I’ve never been so proud of myself. I can’t believe I ate those things.

“I’m on top of the world. I know I lost but it’s kind of boosted my confidence that I can do things. I feel really happy that I got what I got.”

They once again went to bed hungry at Croc Creek.
