Man injured by car in Nelson

A MAN suffered possible back injuries after being struck as he crossed the road.
The 21-year-old man was taken to Burnley General Hospital with suspected back injuries following the incident on Cooper Street in Nelson at around 11.50am this morning.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene.
