A MAN serving 34 months in prison for supplying cannabis has been ordered to forfeit £30,000 in cash seized by police.
Blackburn magistrates heard a large quantity of cannabis and the cash was found when police raided two houses in July Street, Blackburn, in July.
Faisal Khan, 23, had subsequently pleaded guilty to supplying cannabis and been sent to jail.
Sue McClean, prosecuting for the Chief Constable of Lancashire, said other members of Khan’s family had been arrested at the same time but Khan had taken full responsibility for the drugs and the cash.
She said all members of the family involved with the two addresses had now signed a disclaimer in relation to the money.
