Men released on bail after woman found with injuries

TWO men arrested after a woman was found collapsed with serious head injuries have been released on bail.
The 53-year-old woman was found in the garden outside flats in Broad Oak Lane, in Fairfield, shortly after 2am on Thursday.
She was taken to hospital and is said to be in a critical condition.
A 54-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.
They have both now been released on bail until December.
It is not yet known how the woman came by her injuries.
Police say they are keeping an open mind as to whether they were caused deliberately or in an accident.
Detectives cordoned off the property in Broad Oak Lane, as well as a separate address in nearby Topping Fold Road.
They have been carrying out door-to-door inquiries in both streets.
