Blackburn target Bradley fancies move to Germany

American midfielder Michael Bradley favours a move to Germany this summer - according to his agent.

The Heerenveen star has been strongly linked with a switch to the Premier League, with Rovers thought to be among a posse of clubs closely monitoring his situation.

However, his agent Kon Schramm believes a switch to the Bundesliga appears to be the player's preferred option.

"He will probably make the move to Germany," said Schramm.

"He likes the clubs, the league and he knows it better. I think he will feel good in Germany."

Schramm insists he has not been contacted by any club in the Premier League in regard to Bradley, although he refused to rule out a switch to England altogether.

He added: "There is no contact with an English club at this moment. A move to England is possible but we will see.

"We hope something on his future will develop in the next month or so.

"He has one-year left on his current contract and a transfer is not something Heerenveen have really talked about."

Well this article is not accurate cause i know for a fact Everton have made a firm offer for him, so they HAVE had contact with an english club, and quite frankly the Premiership is where it's at.

"A move to England is possible but we will see".

I say that if Mark gets to speak to him, he can work his magic and convince him to come to Ewood. He's managed to get real quality players through the door here. Bellamy first, then McCarthy and now Santa Cruz, let's be positve lads ok? Nothings happened yet.

And remember (this is my catchphrase from now on LOL, well a quote to live by...

"How far that little candle throws his beams! So shines a good deed in a weary world." William Shakespeare

the story is incorrect. Whoever Schramm is, he is not Bradley's Agent (Ron Waxman, who is based in New York is). Waxman stated publicly yesterday that these reports are incorrect. Read Soccer by Ives (dot net), a New York based footie blog for further info.

BENNI MCCARTHY LATEST
took this from sky sports, quality news about him buyin a property in b'burn and following in Friedels & Tugay;'s footsteps, could well be a cult hero by then if he's back to prolific ways neat season, which i beleive he will be.

Benni McCarthy has warned his fellow strikers at Blackburn that he is determined to regain his place in the side.

The South African joined Rovers from Porto in the summer of 2006 and enjoyed a superb first season with the club.

He has not been able to replicate that success over the past 12 months and has fallen behind Roque Santa Cruz and Jason Roberts in the pecking order.

But McCarthy is convinced that he will discover his best form once again after signing a new three-year contract last month.

"It has not been the greatest season for me but not bad for the team," he said.

"I can't even get into the starting line-up but it is great for the manager as he has so many players on form who want to play who can't get in the team.

"Derbs (Matt Derbyshire) is fantastic as whenever he comes in he always gives the manager an extra headache and Robbo (Roberts) has taken his opportunity.

"But Robbo and Roque are going to see a thing or two next season.

No distractions

"I'll be back to my old self, no more distractions. I'm looking to buy a house in Blackburn and become a local citizen and once I get all that sorted out I will give them something to think about over the holidays."

McCarthy is thankful to Mark Hughes for offering him a long-term contract and is desperate to repay the manager's faith in him.

"When you come in first season and score 24 goals then the second season there are more obstacles," he explained.

"The competition is tougher now than it was last season. Unfortunately this year it has not been smooth sailing for me but now with the contract signed the club can be more at ease and the player can finish his football at this club.

"I would easily - that is why I signed. I can see myself finishing my football here.

"Look at Tugay, look at Brad Friedel. Those are the examples I am trying to follow."

No doubt this article will hit this website tomoz but they're so god **** slow ;)

Distractions?
Speculation linking you with a move to Chelsea?
Did such distraction last all season?
no, i didnt think so.
Benni should just admit that he had a poor season end of story.
For him to commit his future to Blackburn is good for the supporters but he should be honest and try not to blame his poor form on "distractions".
He has had better competition this season from Cruz, Derbyshire and Roberts and thats what he has found tough.

he's pretty much admitted it hasnt he, let's just continue to get behind him, not literally of course, it'll take a lot for the majority of fans who sing his name to jib him and the goals will come, roll on 08/09!
