'Holidays for Heroes' First Choice Give Away Free Holidays

First choice has stepped in to boost the morale of armed forces families who have suffered the loss or serious injury of a loved one.

The leading tour operator, part of the TUI group, in conjunction with The Sun newspaper, is to give away &pound150,000 worth of free holidays to bereaved families and the families of those injured in Afghanistan or Iraq.

For every 20 First Choice holidays booked before the 20th February 2010, the company will send one deserving family to one of their flagship Holiday Village resorts. They will also enter the holidaymaker into a free prize draw with the chance to win an all inclusive family holiday for four, to be taken during the summer of 2011.

Christian Cull, communications director for TUI urged the public to join in saying, "By taking part in Holidays for Heroes the public will be giving holidays to those that deserve it most. The Ministry of Defence back the campaign with Armed Forces Minister Bill Rammell commenting, "We always welcome any gestures of support for our brave personnel... this offer of free holidays is generous and will be warmly received."
