Georgia May Jagger has said her mother Jerry Hall is enjoying married life with Rupert Murdoch.

The 24-year-old model, the youngest daughter of Jerry and Sir Mick Jagger, was a bridesmaid at the March 5 blessing.

“She’s so sweet. She’s very happy,” the London-born star told ES Magazine.

Jerry, 59, and media mogul Murdoch, 85, celebrated their marriage in a private service at St Bride’s Church in Fleet Street.

Scores of famous faces from the entertainment and media worlds attended the hour-long service, held a day after the pair tied the knot at lavish Spencer House in London.

Georgia May is the third of Jerry’s four children with rocker Sir Mick.

Her sister Elizabeth, 32, is also a model. Brother James, 30, is an actor who is starring in US drama Vinyl – created by Sir Mick and Martin Scorsese. Youngest sibling Gabriel, 18, has so far avoided much of the spotlight.

Georgia May told ES Magazine she is “really good friends” with her siblings.

She also spoke about her friendships with models Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse. “I have, you know, Cara and Suki,” she said in response to a question about her close circle.

“Suki I’ve known since we were in school together. People always say we’re model friends, but actually I knew her before that.”

She said it was nice to have friends in the modelling industry because they understand the pressures.

However, her famous companions have busy schedules: Cara has just finished filming Kids In Love and Suki is shooting Churchill, with Brian Cox in the lead role.

Georgia May said: “I see them less and less, but it’s really nice when we all meet up and hang out. We got to do our Vogue cover last year (they were shot by Mario Testino for the April issue), and that was a big moment as the three of us had never done anything together before. But I’ve been seeing Cara a lot more because she’s living in Paris.”

Hailed for her face and figure, Georgia May insisted: “I feel incredibly uncool all the time because I’m a massive dork. I watched an hour-long documentary this week about cuttlefish. I’m into weird facts and funny things like that and I’m not, like, supercool. I’m just happy to chat with everyone.”

On the subject of exercise, she said going to the gym is “boring” and that carrying her suitcase around keeps her fit.

“I was always a bit bad with sports and stuff as a kid. I think people assume that all models are working out in the gym, but I’m really not that kind of person. I find it quite boring. I carry my suitcase around a lot, though. I drag it up and down.”

The full interview appears in this week’s issue of ES Magazine, out on Thursday.
