Tori Spelling has said that she isn't sure whether she will get a happy ending to the cheating drama with her husband Dean McDermott.

The Beverly Hills 90210 star's marriage was rocked by the discovery that Dean had had an affair and Tori is now starring in a new reality TV series, True Tori, which shows her going to counselling with her husband in the hope of working through their problems.

In a blog post on her website, she wrote: "I wanted to take a moment to address what's been going on in my life over the last several months. Our family has been going through an incredibly difficult and trying time, and the story of what I've been going through has been told by everyone... except for me.

"So, it's time for me to set the record straight. Which is why I decided to share this with all of you on True Tori."

The show is aired in the US on Lifetime and has just launched.

She continued: "Throughout my life, the tabloids have told every story you could imagine - and they always got it wrong. I needed the chance to tell my own story. At the moment, I don't know if it will have a happy ending. But I need to get my voice back, and this is my way of doing that.

"I also wanted to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for your unconditional love, positivity and support over the last several months.

"I'm forever thankful for the support of my incredible fans and friends, especially from my amazing online family."

According to E!, in the programme Tori and Dean were shown at a counselling session arguing about his claims that they didn't have sex regularly and he then admitted: "That's my worst nightmare, I cheated on my wife. I was out of control... Sex was an escape, just like drugs and alcohol."
