TELEVISION heart-throb Lucien Laviscount is making a move into the music business with his debut single.

The former Waterloo Road and Coronation Street star could soon Dance With You when his single is released in April.

Lucien, 19, from Read, has joined forces with US hip-hop rapper Mann for the track.

Mann, who has collaborated with and celebrated huge chart success with two US Number 1s featuring 50 Cent and Snoop Dog, met Lucien at last year’s MOBO Award.

According to Lucien, who was a student at Ribblesdale High School before studying at Clitheroe Royal Grammar sixth form, the pair hit it off and decided to record a track.

The Celebrity Big Brother star said the move into music was ‘a long time coming’ and he was looking forward to making music with ‘great vibes’.

A preview of his track was yesterday unveiled on YouTube ready for its April release.

In the trailer to the video Lucien is seen mixing with celebs such as musician and actor Ashley Walters, known as Asher D, former Eastenders star Matt Di Angelo and Geoff Bell.

Lucien is the first artist to be signed to SK Records, founded by British singer-songwriter Simon Webbe and business partners Karan and Preeti Singh.

Lucien said: “This is an amazing new adventure for me, which has been a long time coming.

“I'm grateful to have a good solid team around me and I'm now looking forward to working hard and making good music with great vibes, which people can relate to and party to.”

Simon Webbe said: “Lucien’s a triple-threat artist.

His single is an infectious dance track with an R&B vocal and we’re really looking forward to see how it does in the charts.”

Can't wait. It sounds like its going to be so different to the stuff they play on daytime radio.
Dance with R&B vocals - groundbreaking.
