By Sheila Brennan.

Today I decided to change my ways,
Now the weight is creeping on,
It only took two days,
For those biscuits to be gone.
No more ice cream I vow,
Only healthy food I'll take,
I've given up sweets for now,
Along with crisps, chocolate and cake.
I may have a treat on the quiet,
Cannot deny all food in haste,
Special occasions won't break my diet,
Couldn't let it go to waste.
I'll start afresh the next day,
Make sure I don't overeat,
But life could be quite dull,
Without allowing an odd treat.
