NEW jobs will be created when a revamped KFC fast food restaurant opens next year.
Builders began work to create a drive-through at the site on the A59 at Mellor Brook last month.
The expansion is expected to create up to 10 new jobs, and people are being urged to apply for a variety of positions.
A spokesman for the franchisee which operates the Mellor Brook KFC said: “We’re happy to announce that we are in the process of turning our Mellor Brook restaurant into a drive-thru, making it extra convenient for customers and creating around 10 extra jobs in the local community.
“We will be reopening in early 2012 and anyone interested in applying for a job should visit the KFC website.”

Well I for one won't be driving in - just driving past. Refuse to go since they admitted using halal chickens. Shame on them.
