Ribble Valley restaurant Shajan short-listed for award

AN INDIAN restaurant in the Ribble Valley could be named the best in the UK at a prestigious awards ceremony next month.
Shajan Indian Restaurant, in Clayton-le-Dale, is one of seven Northern curry houses that have been short-listed for the The Bangladesh Caterers Association awards.
Thousands of restaurants nationally received public nominations for the awards, which take place on December 4.
The event, now in its sixth year, will be held at Park Plaza Hotel, Central London, hosted by ITV Daybreak presenter, Tasmin Lucia Khan.
