National prize for Longridge firm’s cheese

A LONGRIDGE-based family cheese makers has won a national award.

Butlers won an award at the Tesco Cheese Challenge for its hand-made artisan cheese, Guernsey Gold, made at the Ravens Oak Dairy, in Cheshire.

Managing director Kathryn Gray said: “It’s a great accolade for Guernsey Gold and credit has to go to Katy Hollinshead and Sarah Roberts who are just great cheese makers.”
