What will happen to our son's education?

OUR son attends Broad Oak High School. We are concerned at what might happen to his education if the school is closed down. Why does Bury council need to do this?

We have heard that it is because this is the only way they can get funding for rebuilding Derby and Riverside. It seems that the education of kids in the schools the council hopes to close doesn't matter. But it does.

If the council has problems getting the funding for schools then it should be attacking the government, not our children. Teachers will leave to take more secure jobs.
