JOSEPH (JOE) CLEGG The family of the late Joseph Clegg (Joe) wish to express their sincere thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy and cards at this sad time. Thank you to Dr T Manjooran of Hyndburn Medical Practice, the district nurses, and Lesley the podiatrist for all the care and attention given to dad at home.Thank you to Garden Gate Florist for the beautiful flowers especially the ‘Owd Chap’ - amazing. Thank you to Prestons Funeral Services for their outstanding professional services.Thank you also to Joanne and Chris for keeping Grandad entertained during your many, many visits to him.Thank you to Paul for all your early morning and late night visits to Dad which he enjoyed very much. Special thank you to John for being Dad’s best mate as well as the best son in law possible, they were very close indeed, and a massive thank you to Michael, you did Grandad proud with your eulogy to him. It was perfect and you were so brave reading it to the end, well done Michael! Grandad would be so proud of you, just as we all are. Thank you also to Denise for the service. Dad’s two daughters Jean and Pauline made sure Dad remained at home during his illness as he wished, they looked after him every day the best they possibly could and stayed with him until the end with Michael. They can honestly say they did their best for Dad and miss him very, very much. Also thank you to the Dog and Otter for the lovely buffet and to all who attended the funeral.
