JOHN JAMES (JIM) BYRNE Following a brave fight, Jim passed away peacefully, at home, on the 14th August aged 81 years. Loving husband of the late Maureen, loving father of Christine, Kevin and Karen, proud grandfather of Paul, Tom, Mike, Chris and Stephen and friend to many at home and abroad. Reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Duckworth Street, Darwen. A 2.00 pm Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church, Darwen on Thursday, 24th August followed by committal at Pleasington Crematorium.
