(PATRICIA) GERALDINE McLAUGHLIN ( Nee: FLYNN ) 1969 - 2017 It is with a feeling of loss beyond words that we sadly announce Geraldine slept away peacefully at home in the gentle care of her family on February 19th following a short but courageous fight. Our “Jigsaw” was the adored wife and soulmate of Mark, besotted caring mum to Abigail, Jessica and son-in-law to be Harry, a much loved and cherished sister and a dear friend to many. Her smile will stay with everyone she touched. Reposing in the Darwen Chapel Of Rest, Blackburn Road, Darwen. A funeral service will take place at St Josephs Church, Darwen on Tuesday February 28th at 12.00noon followed by interment at Darwen Eastern Cemetery. Please wear something that Geraldine would remember you by. In line with her wishes and in lieu of a reception a family gift has been made to East Lancs Hospice, Blackburn. We would like to request family flowers only please and instead for any donations to be made in Geraldines Memory to the hospice ( cheques only please ) c/o Darwen Funeral Services, 59-61, Blackburn Road, Darwen.
