TIMOTHY JOHN STOCKLEY On New Years Eve peacefully at home holding his wife’s hand, after a long illness borne with great courage and dignity, Tim, cherished husband of Stef, beloved son of Cyril, special ‘dad’ to Daniel and Christopher, adored son in law to Susan, Grandad, Uncle, brother in law and special friend of Bunty, Anne and Lyn Sedgewick. Tim, the pleasure and the privilege was all ours. A 10.30 am service will take place on Friday, January 10 at St Peter’s Church Darwen prior to committal at Pleasington Crematorium. No black please by Tim’s request. Family flowers only but donations in Tim’s memory may be made to The Christie Hospital if so wished. Tim looked after me in Wilkinson house, he was a fantastic man, always went out of his way to cheer us kids up, trips out, cricket, always there for us. Devastated to hear the news. Rest in peace.

Thank you to all who came to the celebration of Tims life and his wake. It was the perfect send off for a wonderful man. Tim was held in such high regard by so many and very much loved. We did Tim proud! May god bless you all xxxxx Stef xx

I am in shock if i've got the right TJS? If i'm on the right one we worked together at Brockhall in the early 80's. We had some great times both at work and socialising. One thing i'll always remember was going to see the Rolling Stones in Newcastle in 1982, and watching Man city at Maine Road. Happy days pal R.I.P.
